You are visiting Dacoromania website dedicated to the history of Romania and Moldova. The main purpose of the project is collecting and popularization of information on these countries history. The material placed on the site is divided into two parts: the articles in public access and the digital library available for registered users. In the library you can find various full-text books on Romanian, Moldavian, East-European and Russian Empire History. At the moment our library contains several tens of on such topics as the history of Bessarabia and Moldova, history of Romania, history of East-European countries etc. The majority of books are digitalized special for Dacoromania and can not be found on other websites. However, some books were taken from other places but and edited to improve quality and reduce file size. Books are in djvu format with text recognition to make them searcheable.

Our library is open for people who have scientific or educational interest in Moldo-Romanian history. We are also open for collaboration, so if you want to make a contribution in library development, please, contact us.

We also ave a web board to discuss the problems of Romanian history, language and culture.
